RoundOne Kigo

Kigo is a term related to haiku writing and literally means: “word of the season”. Traditionally, each haiku contains a word or an expression that refers to a phenomenon related to one of the seasons of the year, a hint of the time of the year in which the composition takes place. Kigo can be an animal, a plant, a place, but also an event or a tradition. It generally represents the main theme of the haiku, the heart of the poem.
